| Recent years, digital, intelligent and network are becoming the more and more popular directions for electronic devices. As an important development tool for electronic technology, modern signal generator has been replacing the traditional instruments. With the development of low cost, high speed digital devices, it is possible to design signal generator based on direct digital synthesizer (DDS) technology. Compared to traditional signal generator, a digital signal generator using DDS has strong competition for its very high frequency accuracy, high frequency stability characteristics and arbitrary waveform. Therefore, DDS signal generator is replacing the traditional instrument and becoming the mainstream product in the market expect the high frequency field.In this paper, the design and implementation of DDS algorithm based on FPGA are advanced to achieve high accuracy, high sensitivity and performance. It includes DA converter, interactive LCD display circuit design, as well as UI design, PC side software design and other related issues.Main Contents and Features:1. DDS digital frequency synthesizer, using the DDS algorithm based on FPGA technology solutions. Including hardware circuit design, software algorithms and program coding, simulation, debugging.2. The main control system consists of ARM controller and LCD display, which is quite convenient for interactive control and data communications.3. Two-way waveform output (The primary and secondary one). What’s more, it has extra functions, such as amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, phase modulation and so on.4. Arbitrary waveform output function beside a few basic waveform. Also, it supports download arbitrary waveform to signal generator through the PC software.5. PC software designed by LABVIEW which can implement almost all the signal generator functions. |
