In the process of the design and analysis of power electronic system,the developer can properly carry out the hardware-in-the-loop simulation experiment,which can effectively shorten the development cycle of the product,reduce the development cost,and guarantee the safety of personnel to a large extent.The research and development of power electronics hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation technology and its platform can facilitate the experiment and teaching of power electronics technology.Aiming at the teaching and experiment needs of power electronics hardware-in-the-loop simulation,this paper researches and develops low-cost solutions.Based on Lab VIEW software and FPGA board card,a kind of power electronics hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation platform with high-cost performance is designed.The experimental platform is composed of monitoring system compiled by Lab VIEW software and FPGA board card.The monitoring system exchanges data with FPGA board card through Ethernet.The platform system can download and install various circuit topology models and carry out hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation experiments.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)The architecture of power electronics hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation platform and the principle of system model formation are studied.On the basis of analyzing and comparing various modeling methods,the simulation model of Bucks circuit is established by using binary resistance method.(2)This paper introduces the SG software development environment,designs the general simulation model framework of FPGA,applies the BUCK circuit model established above to the model framework,and gives a detailed description of the model download mode and introduces the ARM system configuration.(3)Based on real-time simulation platform prototype the composed of the FPGA +PC,this paper designed a monitoring system and model data file format based on Lab VIEW architecture,realized the download of multiple model library files,parameter setting and model circuit topology diagram's display.In this paper,the multi-thread algorithm is used to receive and parse the data,and the real-time display of the simulation waveform curve is realized.Through the research,based on the experimental prototype platform,the paper carried out real-time simulation experiments of BUCK circuit,and compared the results with the SG simulation platform to verify the accuracy and reliability of the power electronics hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation platform designed in this paper.
