With the development of society, the oil leakage problem exists in che hydraulicsystem becoming the potential safety hazard when the demand of the hydraulicequipment is increased. The combining static and dynamic seals of hydraulic rod inthe hydraulic systems are particularly prone to oil leakage position. In this paper, oilswellable rubber as the basic material for oil leakage detection, devised a suitable oilleakage detector in this position, and through software and hardware design to achieveoil leakage real-time monitoring in the hydraulic system.The oil swellable rubber can be rapid expanded and kept stable resilience. Byusing this characteristic of oil swellable rubber, the oil leakage detector is realized bycombining with the resistance strain gauge pressure sensor, the output of the pressuresensor signal is the real-time status of the hydraulic system. Considering the outputsignal is a weak analog signal, by using a high precision24-bit AD conversionamplifier HX711module realized that the analog signal acquisition, amplification,and AD conversion, finally transform a digital signal which CPU can handled directly.Adopting high performance ARM Cortex STM32F103ZE microprocessor chip as itsCPU for analyzing the signal, in case of oil leakage, the CPU will starts with ISD1760chip as the control core of the voice alarm module to give voice alarm. In the wirelesstransmission part adopts SIM900A GPRS data transmission module, the CPU via itsserial port controlling SIM900A module send the processed data of oil leakagedetection to the TCP server by using AT command. At last, using C#windows formsapplication for PC visual interface design, combined with C#network programmingand SQL database, in PC realized programming software design which has datareception, storage and display functionsThe oil leakage detector is designed in this paper can successfully used for thecombining static and dynamic seals of hydraulic rod oil leakage detection in thehydraulic systems, as the oil swellable rubber detected the leakage oil, the oil leakagewill be stopped effectively by the oil swellable rubber expansion to block the leakagepoints. The system can be successfully realized the remote real-time monitoring bysend the detection data through GPRS network to PC server.
