Based on reading a lot of material about wireless data transmission system on GPRS in the port environment, this paper analyzes the principle and actual application of GPRS wireless transmission system in the port environment. In the layout and the overall design, this paper is closely combined with the actual application situation and the basic principle of knowledge and it has reached the reasonably accurate requirement of engineering practice. It also analyzes the principles and methods in the mechanical work practices.With the rapid development of communication technology and the actual production monitoring system’s higher requirement for the quality of the transmission signal, the wireless communication technology applied widely in many fields also needs to be constantly developed and improved. Meanwhile, The GPRS technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, which provides strong safeguard for remote wireless communication technology, and it can construct the remote wireless communication system with more accurate transmission signal. GPRS technology has a series of virtues such as low cost, real-time online, high reliability, high speed transmission, fast landing, etc. The core content of this paper is aimed at the study of remote wireless transmission system based on GPRS in the port environment.First of all, the paper introduces the principle and characteristics of GPRS technology and educes the core technology of this paper after a detailed analysis and comparison; Second, it conceives the structure design of the integrated transmission system and analyzes the characteristics of the overall structure of GPRS data transmission system. By comparing, it chooses the appropriate models of main controller and the communication module; Finally, it designs a data receiving system, and completes the real-time display of data.According to the mechanical engineering’s actual requirements in communication technology, concept design of this paper consists of three parts, including the collection, transmission and data reception. In the mechanical practice, the critical part is that the system, with STM32 microprocessor as the core control chip, and MC55 combined with the integration of the TCP/IP protocol unit as a wireless transmission device, can transmit and receive the collected signal.
