Most of the highway located in the southeast coastal areas, areas affected by climate more serious accidents caused by the fog is increasing.According to the current situation, does not have a complete, systematic, reliable fog zone traffic control system. For this question the study area based on ZigBee foggy highway vehicle information collection.Things technology is called the third wave of the information industry, the key technology is the wireless sensor networks, ZigBee technology development costs low, low power consumption and simple structure so that it has the characteristics of a great advantage in many wireless networks. Zigbee single routing nodes can theoretically accommodate254child nodes,Allowing large-scale networking,Adopt a conflict-free multi-carrier channel access method can effectively avoid data collisions between radio carrier, thus ensuring the reliability of data transmission.In this paper, ZigBee technology to build highway vehicle information collection system fog area,Data collected by the sensor to automatically upload and wireless transmission,To overcome the traditional vehicle information detection system wiring complex and difficult to manage, influenced by factors such as road traffic shortcomings,To overcome the traditional vehicle information detection system wiring complex and difficult to manage, influenced by factors such as road traffic shortcomings.This paper uses a modular design concept, were completed in magnetoresistive sensors, seismic sensors, visibility observation instrument for the sensing element of the system terminal node module, hardware design center node module and power module node, IAR embedded in the system design environment software, detailing the ZigBee networking and data transfer process.The collected voltage signal processing algorithm has been improved, were designed to determine the direction of the vehicle, the vehicle speed and vehicle detection algorithm estimates the presence or absence,and designed with LabVIEW as a tool for PC visual interface, thus facilitating the monitoring personnel visual query the data.
