Internet of Things technology is a flourishing technology in China, which isstrongly supported by national policy and promoted by all kind of companies.Thus ithas been widely used in almost every sectors, such as smart home, industrial control,road supervision, medical equipment, security etc. That’s to say, Internet of Thingstechnology can be adopted to almost all systems which are related to informationcollection and device control. In addition to the development of smart phones and theInternet, people have a growing appetite for Internet of Things technology, and evenbecame quite dependent on it.This thesis realized a information collection system which is based on Internet ofThings to collect and show information of textile machine in factories. The systemcombines the embedded control technology, ZigBee wireless transmission technologyand web server technology. It monitor work state of each textile machine in factory bydeploying info-collector on their. The system is endowed with the followingadvantages: easy installation, a lot of network nodes, high reliability, simple networklayout, remote control, etc. The system will use powerful but cheap device as much aspossible and will have it developed by open source software. The overall cost is low,but it can meet the needs of many small and medium enterprises with slightmodification, which will be good for its popularization.The system collect several kinds of information and monitor work status of thefactory equipments based on internet of things. It uses ZigBee modules fornetworking to make all the equipments of the factory to connect to a LAN and thecoordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the network. Theinfo-collector sent the information of the device to coordinator, then the coordinatorsent the processed data to the specified server on the Internet via the serial-to-ethernetmodule. Users can access device data via the pages of web or wechat client.Theimplementation of the whole system is from the total to points. Firstly, the thesisproposes an overall design of the system based on the theoretical analysis. Then, the implementation of whole system is divided into two parts, hardware and software. Inhardware design part, the paper describe the functions,schematics and realization ofinfo-collector and coordinator in detail. The soft design is divided into informationcollection,coordinator and web server software implementation.Then,the thesisdescribed the design and workflow of each module, and given a specificimplementation if it is necessary. Then gives some tests of the system and analyze theexperimental results in the end. The tests shows that the whole system can workstablely which proved that the design of the system is feasible and reliable.
