The detection of crane energy consumption can provide the basis for theevaluation of energy conservation of crane and promote the green design andmanufacture of large-scale equipment. Wireless sensor network is extensively used inindustrial detection and control fields. Research and design of data center node of thewireless sensor network for crane energy consumption detection is conducted in thisthesis by utilizing wireless sensor network technology based on ZigBee and hardwareand software development technology based on CC2530, and realize the dataacquisition from energy consumption sensor nodes that are distributed in differentparts of crane and data transmission to the data processing center computer.This thesis discusses variety of wireless sensor network technologies that aregradually matured in recent years and conducts a deeply research on ZigBeetechnology that is most widely used. The applicability and advantage of ZigBeetechnology in constructing the wireless sensor network for crane energy detection isconfirmed by analyzing the requirement of crane energy consumption detection. Onthis basis, ZigBee protocol and CC2530is confirmed to be adopted in the design ofdata center node of the wireless sensor network for crane energy consumptiondetection.The data center node researched in this thesis is the central node of the wirelesssensor network for crane energy detection. The task of the data center node isdesigned and proposed based on the deeply research on the function of the wirelesssensor network for crane energy detection. In addition to the basic task of wirelesscommunicating with the sensor nodes, the data center node should also take the taskof initializing and managing the wireless sensor network, and transmitting the datafrom wireless sensor nodes to the data processing center computer.After designing the task of the data center node, the detailed design of hardwareand software of the data center node is conducted in this thesis. The hardware circuittakes CC2530as the core and the circuit includes CC2530peripheral circuit, RS232serial port communication circuit, power supply voltage regulator circuit,human-computer interaction interface circuit and JTAG interface circuit.Z-Stack-CC2530-2.4.0-1.4.0of Texas Instruments is used to complete the compilationand debugging of the software of the data center node. Finally, the experimental test of the data center node of the wireless sensornetwork for crane energy consumption detection is conducted. The experimentalresults shows that the data center node can construct and manage a wireless sensornetwork, allow nodes to join and leave the network, receive data from the sensornodes and real-time communicate with upper computer.
