Study On The Workshop Management Subsystem Of The Production Management Information System For Engineering Machinery Hydraulic Fittings

Enterprise resource planning is the source of production management, and workshopproduce products according to the company’s plans. In the production managementinformation system, workshop management subsystem is to coordinate the operation ofworkshop logistics and information flow, thus it is an important part of enterprisemanagement. In this paper, the research on the workshop management subsystem has beendone based on the combination of ERP and MES in mechanical engineering hydraulic pipefittings production management information system. The system is able to integrateworkshop information, then share the information with other subsystems, meanwhile it canschedule the workshop production according to the company planning; At the same time itis able to control the workshop production management, in addition, feedback the shopfloor processed information to the planning department to optimize the entire manufacturingprocess.In this paper, the functional models of ERP and MES are briefly introduced, thenaccording to the features of ERP and MES system, this paper discusses the application ofERP and MES in the workshop management subsystem. According to theories, features ofERP and MES, including the current situation of small and medium enterprises, theworkshop management subsystem is designed based on ERP/MES production managementinformation system. The following four areas have been done in the paper:(1) Based on the research of Shandong Yanzhou Jincheng Hongda Machinery Co., Ltd.,the paper briefly analyzes the status of engineering machinery hydraulic pipe fittingsindustry, as well give a brief summary on the current situation of the enterprise productionmanagement. Based on the analysis report of workshop management subsystem, this paperanalyzes and summarizes problems in the workshop management, furthermore put forwardreasonable solutions. After taking consideration of ERP/MES basic principles and currentbusiness processes, a more reasonable business process is designed to meet the needs of thecompany’s workshop management;(2) According to the improved business process diagrams, data flow diagrams and the system interface diagram of workshop management subsystem are designed; afterwards, the13functional sub-modules of workshop management subsystem are designed;(3) The overall structure of the workshop management subsystem are studied,including network design, development tools, system design and database design;(4) Taking into full consideration of the features and status in workshop productionmanagement of discrete manufacturing enterprise, the paper completes the workshopproduction management subsystem in detail by using Delphi and SQL Server2000software,in conclusion a detailed functional design of authority management, system login processand workshop management system is carried out.
