With the further strengthen of the trend of economic globalization and the rapid development of modern information technology, in discrete manufacturing industry, customers'request to products becomes more and more diverse, changeable, order size also tend to be small batch and multiple varieties. It requires enterprises not only have advanced manufacture equipment, manufacturing technology and process, but also have the ability to respond market changes quickly, the whole manufacturing system should be sufficient flexibility and agility to meet customers demands, and enhance the overall competitiveness of enterprises. Modern intermittent manufacturing enterprises to improve their overall strength, the enterprise information construction are an indispensable key. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), makes information interact between enterprise management layer (ERP) and the underlying control layer (PCS). It plays the role of interaction. Therefore, the variety of information is producted by production process of intermittent manufacturing plant play an important role in the management of the whole manufacturing system. So, the research on methods of information acquisition in intermittent manufacturing plant has important academic value and engineering application value.First, this paper analyzes the application status of information acquisition in dispersed manufacturing at home and abroad, researches and establishes the business process model and the information flow model in dispersed manufacturing workshop, classifys the information in production process and establishes the appropriate information model.Secondly, aiming at the classification information of manufacturing process, a kind of four-layer overall scheme about information acquisition of production process in discrete manufacturing workshop is proposed. Based on the overall scheme above, according to different classification of information, in production process, the process and method of acquisition information are researched, including the information of quality, assembly technology clamp, tool, material and production quantity and so on. Moreover, the information acquisition schemes of wireless information and RFID information are depth explored respectively. Meanwhile, the information acquisition method about the equipment operating parameters is studied and designed combining with the equipment running status. Finally, according to the research result above and concrete needs of enterprise, a set of information acquisition system of discrete manufacturing workshop field is designed and developed, and through preliminary operation of the system in the enterprise to verify the effectiveness of research scheme.
