Design And Implementation Of Inventory Management System For Discrete Medium And Small Manufacturing Enterpises Based On SaaS Technology

Nowadays small and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprises have fully realized that inventory management is the key to good business operations,moreover,informationization effectively promote the efficiency of enterprises to improve inventory management,cost savings and enhance management capabilities.The traditional inventory management system needs investment in implementation,maintenance and capital,and it is hard to fit in with the development of enterprises.With the development of information technology,network technology and cloud computing technology,the development and use of software has undergone a revolution,which has driven the reform of the utilization manner of inventory management system in small and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprises.By developing a Saa S(Software as a Service)-based inventory management system,it is of great significance to effectively promote the informatization extent of small and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprises in applying inventory management system.This paper analyzes the characteristics of small and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprises,and studies the technological development of Saa S and the development status of domestic and foreign inventory management systems.Through the analysis of the demand for Saa S inventory management system and technical feasibility analysis,we finally use Alibaba Cloud platform with Python as the main development language,also adopt HTML5,Java Script and CSS as the front-end development tools,and select open source database My SQL5.6 as the development database,and use Tornado as a Web technology framework.Thus,it improves the system development efficiency.The small and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprise can get access to Saa S platform through the Internet and use Saa S-based inventory management system that developed by cloud computing technology.Meanwhile it reduces the cost of utilization and operations,with effectively managing the inventory for enterprises.Firstly,the system helps develop unified management for enterprise users through multi-tenant management platform on Saa S.With inventory management system,each enterprise user can have access to a serial of functions,including basic materials and coding,storage and location settings,work order tracking,storage management,sorting and material adjustment,personnel and authority management,processes and approval management.Meanwhile it provides inventory warning to help small and medium-sized discrete manufacturing enterprises to achieve accurate and precise material management and control,to improve inventory turnover efficiency in inventory and reduce the workload of inventory management with less errors and material.When Saa S-based inventory management system got developed,we can achieve the expected designing goals through the testing of the system's functionality,performance and reliability.
