In this paper, we establish themonitoring system of power and environment in data center, achieve tocentralized-monitor the ups, the alternator, the battery, the air-condition and theenvironment, solve the lack of traditional artificial-query-way.Firstly, research and analysis the related technologies in the monitoring system ofPower and environment in data center, illustrate the working principle and application ofModbus protocol.serial communication technology,socket technology, multithreadingtechnology, Visual Basic NET technology, database technology and Single chiptechnology.Secondly, according to the requirement of the monitoring system of powerenvironment in user-data center, design the overall system and function module,completethe data collection of Power equipment and temperature and humidity according to theIntelligent gateway and upper machine, upload the database duringthe upper machineanalysising data and transforming format, present data in form and figure according to thepower facilities module and online monitoring module and Online analysis module andonline assessment module.The monitoring system of power environment in data centerbase on the Visual Basic.NET,operate the database by ADO.NET.Finally, demonstrate the operational condition of each function module in picture,provide convenience for user to look over the operating state of power equipment andtemperature and humidity of data centter.achieve to the function of energy efficiencyanalysis and affair analysis, meanwhile, achieve to the assessment of quality of electric energy and power equipment.
