As the rapid development of information technology, and the improvement of the publicculture quality, people more or less have to reach some strongly professional field in daily life, but because of the limited knowledge of themselves, people, who want to understand the field, need some visual and intuitive ways. In this thesis, with the advantage of visual effects of3DS max, which has powerful MAXScript, the grid structure was completed from theanimated simulation of construction to strength calculation to vibration analysis of structure, and some highly professional contents of building and civil engineering are showed to yourealistically. The detailed structure of thesis is listed as follows:First, with the study of the grid structure and3DS max, the construction process of thestructure, as an example, was simulated vividly using3DS max, and the construction way of atypical grid structurewas represented in the form of animation showing. Then, based on theory of the Finite Element Method and the deduced formula, thecomputational analysis of typical several grid structures has been finished. In the last place, the resulting data was output, and also the axial force diagram and bending moment diagram, the fly-throughs of which was producted to show details of result. The last part is the vibrational analysis of grid structures. According to the vibrationboundary conditions for programming, debugging, each mode shape, frequency and dampingmatrix of the structure was calculated. At last compared with the computing result of Matlab, the program of MAXScript was proved correct.Through the using of MAXScript of3DS max and the correct output of ultimate effect,we have verified the computational capabilities of MAXScript. More to the point, theprofessional knowledge was showed by3DS max with more rich forms.
