Electromagnetic vibration feeder is widely applied to metallurgy industry, chemical industry, medicine and foodstuff industry, etc. Compared to other feeding systems, it has many advantages, such as high efficiency, working stability and credibility, simple structure, small fiction, excellent commonality and so on. Recently, the main problems of electromagnetic vibration feeder are focus on how to increase its transportation efficiency, how to heighten its level of automation control, and especially how to realize precisely and placidly feeding control. For this purpose, some researches are given.In this paper, firstly, the kinematic analysis for electromagnetic vibration feeder was made, the structure of electromagnetic vibration feeder and the principles of materials feeding were introduced, and several different ways of materials of material feeding was analyzed, then the more efficient state of movement is got. Secondly, the damping vibration of the mechanical model was established and analyzed, the main parameters were identified. To trigger angle regulable rectifier circuit, the relation between trigger angle and electromagnetic exciting force was found, thus the model of electromagnetic vibration feeder and vibration amplitude of the mathematical model were derived; Thirdly, experiments of amplitude and feeding were made, to relevant experimental data a correlative analysis was given.In order to achieve a smooth feeding process, gain-adapted single neuron PID algorithm is used., The emulate shows that the stability of the feeding has improved greatly, and the control performance and the grade of automatic have been improved as well.
