Since the 21 st century,with the continuous development and progress of science and technology, especially the rapid development of information technology,mobile network coverage quickly, and the iteration and the popularity of intelligent electronic products,modern information technology has penetrated into every aspect of people’s life. It is become negligible that distance of time and space and regional block the exchange of information on human.The method and way that people obtain knowledge also become diverse.People are not constrained in school learning and teacher’s explanation.More and more teenagers favor mobile education since vigorous development of mobile education.WeChat as a simple operation, strong universality, wide coverage of mobile social software, can be good with mobile education concept.By means of WeChat platform advantages and the characteristics of the mobile education,the author based on the powerful WeChat platform and other software in the mobile intelligent terminal to jointly promote the development of middle school geography education.With mobile education teaching theory and model as a guide, the author want to put forward the defects and the problem that exist in the traditional middle school geography education in our country through the study of traditional geography education mode at home and abroad and the development status of WeChat. It will combination with WeChat that is a he most powerful mobile social software that have the highest penetration rate of teenagers.According to the perfect communication function and convenient information transmission model,we can draw lessons from their success in the field of business promotion and good prospects for development and explore a middle school geography education new mode that is lower technical threshold and less input materials, facilitate popularization and application, convenient operation and students learning.The author practice a teaching case to show a demonstration of the application of the specific steps and try to prove the numerous advantages and feasibility of middle school geography teaching with WeChat through practice.Every effort is made to solve the defects of traditional geography education. The paper is divided into five parts:First chapter is the research review,.This chapter mainly discusses the research background, research status at home and abroad, the purpose and meaning of the study, as well as research methods and so on.The second chapter is the theoretical basis and the definition. This chapter discusses the concept of the We Chat and mobile learning in detail, as well as the theory basis of this article, constructivism theory, geography teaching theory, and the theory of autonomous learning.The third chapter constructs the WeChat application mode in middle school geography teaching. This paper discusses the the principles of model construction, scope of application, feasibility analysis respectively.The fourth chapter carry on the detailed explanation on the various steps of WeChat applied to geography teaching in the junior middle school. The range for WeChat applied in hunan version of junior high school geography teaching materials is defined.The fifth chapter analysis geography teaching practice for WeChat applied in junior middle school.Verify the feasibility of the application model in the third chapter and the fourth chapter. The experimental results were analyzed.The sixth chapter is the research conclusion and subsequent research in the future.This chapter summarizes the research achievements of the model, and suggested limitations in this paper to provide reference for the later researchers.
