Classical Chinese teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in high school. Whether in the daily teaching, or in the college entrance examination, it has always been the focus and difficulty. Classic works in Chinese classical literature are multitude, broad and profound. China ancient culture has a long and profound history, which is the precious wealth our ancestors left to us. To learn the classical Chinese teaching not only helps to improve the students’ ability of language and the level of literature appreciation, but also helps the students develop the noble sentiment of loving the motherland and the ancient traditional culture. Learning the classical Chinese is the request of history and times. It is the starting point of learning our traditional culture for teenagers to learn classical Chinese. Only to learn Chinese well, understand the history of the Chinese nation, and have a profound understanding of our ancestors, our students can experience the vicissitudes of the motherland, and the inheritance and development of traditional culture. However, classical Chinese is far away from our life. A lot of students are not interested or not strong interested in learning classical Chinese. They feel bored. In the usual test even in the college entrance examination, the students lose points more in the classical Chinese. Many teachers are depressed in classical Chinese teaching.Through the investigation and analysis of classical Chinese teaching situation of Yanbian area the No.2high school in Tumen,this paper is mainly to understand the actual situation of classical Chinese teaching in Senior High School under the new curriculum background and insufficient, and to analyze the existing problems. At the same time, put forward some suggestions about the teaching of the classical Chinese from multi angles.This thesis has four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which is mainly made up of four parts-the problem put forward, research purpose and significance, research current situation and the study scope and method. The second chapter systematically interprets "Ordinary High School Language Curriculum Standards","2014College Entrance Examination Outline" and the requirements of the version high school language textbook on classical Chinese teaching. The third chapter is that through the questionnaire survey and analysis of13teachers and550students, it introduces the present situation of Chinese classical Chinese teaching in the No.2school in Tumen city by the specific data, including the introduction of the basic situation of Han nationality high school in Tumen city; including the investigation and analysis of the classical Chinese teaching teachers, specifically teaching objectives,teaching content, teaching methods, professional training and other aspects; including the investigation and analysis of present situation of classical Chinese students, the motivation, the interest, the method, the learning foundation, reading and achievement in students studying etc.. The fourth chapter is the suggestions for classical Chinese teaching in the No.2high school in Tumen City, which mainly aims at the problems existing in the teaching of classical Chinese. It provides some opinions and suggestions from the aspects of the school, teachers and students. The last part is the conclusion.
