ObjectiveBy exploring the origin and modern development of the acupuncture kinesitherapy to show its clinical application through the research literature on clinical reports, the paper summarizes the modern clinical experience, the characteristics of selecting acupoints and indications and also provides some theoretical basis for the clinical application of the acupuncture kinesitherapy.MethodsBy reading the ancient literature and modern clinical reports on the acupuncture kinesitherapy, the paper talks about the origin and application of its modern practice. At the same time, the domestic clinical research literature about using the acupuncture kinesitherapy to treat the disease will be taken as an object which will be classify according to certain standards. After designing the corresponding data forms, the literature will be re-selected according to its condition about indications and acupoints selected, then the data inputted will be saved in a spreadsheet in which all data will be classified and analyzed again with charts and forms come out as a result. In the end, the paper will try to summarize the clinical characteristics and related rules about the kinetic-needling.ResultsThe acupuncture kinesitherapy was regarded earliest used in Huangdi Neijing, in which we found chapters about the Hui-needling and Fameng-needling. Doctors nowadays put out the concept of the acupuncture kinesitherapy, which is so called Hudongshi-needling, Dongqi-needling and Dongliu-needling at some time. The study gathers 225 selected articles which involved about 37 indications. The results shows that the acupuncture kinesitherapy has been wildly used in Orthopedic disorders, some Internal diseases and a small number diseases of Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT and others. According to 225 selected articles, we can see that 179 articles, which accounts for 79.56%, select the remote acupoints while 46 articles, which accounts for 20.44%, select the near acupoints. When it comes to the acupoint types, there are 152 articles, which accounts for 67.56%, mainly selecting the meridian points while 39 articles, which accounts for 17.33%, mainly selecting the extra-points.ConclusionFirstly, the use of the acupuncture kinesitherapy dates back to Huangdi Nei jing of the Warring Period, but the concept was put out in the later period last century and from then on the acupuncture kinesitherapy has been wildly used in Orthopedic disorders, some Internal diseases and a small number diseases of Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT and other diseases.Secondly, according to all selected articles not only mainly used in Orthopedic disorders, which is mainly the arthritics of shoulder, acute lumbar sprain, ankle joint sprain and stiff neck, but also some Internal diseases and a small number diseases of Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT and other diseases, including apoplexy and its squeal, depression, hiccup, migraine, angina, chest pain, night urination, peripheral facial paralysis, child cerebral palsy and Torrente’s Syndrome, chronic pelvic inflammatory, tinnitus and deafness, laryngitis, intercostals nerve pain after zoster and other symptoms. The etiology and pathogenesis of the diseases are different, while the duration of diseases is different too.Thirdly, in this study, the acupuncture kinesitherapy mainly select the remote acupoints, which are belong to the meridian points, and it also pay attention to effective extra-points and points of customary use. Meanwhile, when treating the indications, the acupuncture kinesitherapy is likely follows the rule of treating the upper part by managing the lower part, vice versa, which is good at moving the part of the body and improving the function and Qi & Blood condition of the affected part.
