Clinical Observation Of Periarthritis Of Shoulder Treated By Acupuncture Kinesitherapy Combined With Puncture And Cupping

Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of acupuncture kinesitherapy combined with puncture and cupping therapy for periarthritis of shoulder.Methods: 64 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were randomly divided into acupuncture kinesitherapy combined with puncture cupping group 32 cases(experimental group)and ordinary acupuncture group32 cases(control group).Visual analogue scores(VAS)and Constant-Murley scores(CMS)were used to evaluate shoulder pain severity,range of motion,daily living ability and muscle strength of patients before treatment.Efficacy was assessed after 2 weeks of therapy.Two weeks later,participants in both groups were followed up to reassess the efficacy.After treatment,the overall efficacy was analyzed statistically.Results: 1.Visual analogue scoring(VAS)was used for pain in the two groups,and shoulder function was evaluated by CMS.By analysis of data(P>0.05),it shows that the two groups of shoulder patients are comparable;After therapy,VAS and CMS of the two groups were contrasted between and within groups,proving that the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder was effective in both groups,and the treatment result of the experimental group was more useful than control group(P<0.05);Two weeks after treatment,the two groups were followed up with visual analogue scoring(VAS)for pain,and shoulder function was evaluated by CMS,By statistical analysis(0.05);2.The overall response rate of test group was 86.67%;The overall response rate of the control group was 61.29%.(P<0.05),was statistically significant;3.Here were no adverse events during the trial.Conclusion: acupuncture kinesitherapy combined with puncture and cupping therapy for periarthritis of shoulder can effectively relieve the symptoms of pain,discomfort and activity limitation.To a certain extent,it can obviously improve the satisfaction of patients with acupuncture treatment.
