| Purpose To cure cervical vertigo mainly by acupuncturing Santian points and observe its clinical effects and the influence on the average blood flow of the vertebral basilar artery and the internal carotid(the encephalic part).Meanwhile,it set up conventional acupuncture control group to make a comparison, and objectively evaluate the 2 kinds of acupunctures’ curative effect differences. Then it can enrich the pathogenesis of cervical vertigo which can supply the basis for selecting better clinical therapeutic schedule.Methods Divide the 60 cervical vertigo patients who meet the criterion into the treatment group and the control group according to random number table method, 30 patients in each group. The treatment group mainly adopts Santian points acupuncture therapy, and the control group adopts the conventional acupuncture therapy.1 time a day, 6 times are taken as a course of treatment. After 1 day’s interval of each course of treatment, 3 courses of treatment in total. When it finishes all the courses of treatment,by comparing the 2 groups’ cervical vertigo symptom and function scale integral,vertebral basilar artery and internal carotid(intracranial part) transcranial cerebral Doppler detection value, then evaluate the clinical effects.Results(1)Clinical effects comparison: after 3 courses of treatment, the treatment group:9 are cured, 15 have notable curative effect, 4 are efficacious, 2 are in vain, and the total effective rate is 93.33%;And for the control group: 6 are cured, 11 have notable curative effect, 6 are efficacious, 7 are in vain, the total effective rate is76.67%. By statistical analysis of the 2 groups, P < 0.05, there exists statistical differences.(2)The comparison of cervical vertigo symptom and ESCV: two groups’ every clinical symptoms integral comparison before treatment, average P>0.05, there is no statistical difference; After 3 courses of treatment: inside groups comparison of the two groups’ every clinical symptom integral, average P< 0.01, there are statistical differences; Comparison between the two groups, in the aspects of headache, mental and social adaptive capacity, P > 0.05, there is no statistical difference; for the treatment group, in the aspects of vertigo, neck-shoulder pain, daily life and work, P<0.05, there are statistical differences.(3)TCD test index comparison: the comparison among groups of VA, BA and ICA mean velocity before treatment, average P>0.05, there is no statistical difference;after 3 courses of treatment: the intra-group comparison of the treatment group VA,BA and ICA mean velocity, average P<0.01, there are statistical differences, and the intra-group comparison of ICA mean velocity, average P>0.05, there is no statistical difference; The comparison between groups of BA mean velocity, P>0.05, there is no statistical difference; and for VA, ICA mean velocity comparison between groups, P<0.01, there is statistical difference.Conclusion(1)Two kinds of acupuncture therapy can cure the cervical vertigo,But for the curative ratio and the total effective ratio,Santian points acupuncture therapy is obviously better than the routine acupuncture.(2)Two kinds of acupuncture therapy can improve the cervical vertigo symptoms and function,but Santian points acupuncture therapy can obviously ease the patients’ symptoms, such as vertigo and neck-shoulder pain, meanwhile, it can improve the daily life quality and work capability.(3)Two kinds of acupuncture therapy can regulate the cervical vertigo vertebral basilar artery blood flow effectively,but Santian points acupuncture therapy can regulate internal carotid blood flow. Improvement of carotid vertigo symptom, mean blood flow velocity of internal carotid artery has different degree of improvement,between which exist potential positive relationship. |
