Clinical Research Of Acupuncture Vertigo-Auditory Area Cooperated With Jiaji Points To Treat Cervical Vertigo

Objective:To observe clinical curative effect for the treatment of cervical vertigo combining acupuncturing vertigo-auditory area withcervical JiaJi points.Methods:68 patients with Cervical Vertigo included in the standard according to the random number table were equally divides into two groups.34 patients of control group were treated by traditional Jiaji points.34 patients of treatment group were treated by acupunturing Vertigo-auditoryarea on both sides based on treatment of control group. Two groups were both treated in 30min a time a day,and 6 days a week as a period of treatment.Between periods of treatment they rest for a day,and two periods as a total. Use Evaluational Scale for symptom and function of Cervical Vertigo(ESCV)score and Transcranial Doppler(TCD)which was used to detect Vertebral-Basilar Artery velocity of blood flow (Vm) as observation indexes.Observe clinical curative effect between before treatment and after the first treatment,after treatment in two groups of patients.Results:1.comparision of general condition Differences of general condition of two groups before treatment had no obviously statistically significance(P>0.05) (P>0.05).2.Comparison of ESCV Differences of scores between two groups had no obviously statistically significance (P>0.05);Differences of scores of treatment group between before treatment and after the first treatment had extremely obviously statistically significance (P<0.01),however,control group had no significance (P>0.05);Scores in two groups between before treatment and after treatment were both improved,which both had extremely obviously statistically significance (P< 0.01);Differences of scores in two groups before treatment and after treatment had statistically significance (P< 0.05).3. Comparison of transcranial doppler (TCD) Differences of Vm of right vertebral artery(LV)、 left vertebral artery(RV)and basilar artery(BV) between two groups had no obviously statistically significance(P> 0.05); Vm in two groups between before treatment and after treatment were all improved,which all had extremely obviously statistically significance (P<0.01); Differences of Vm in two groups before treatment and after treatment had statistically significance (P<0.05).4.Comparison of Efficacy In treatment group the cure rate was 54.55%,totally effective rate 96.97%, however in control group was 32.36%, the total effective rate 88.24% whose difference had statistically significance (P<0.05)Conclusion:1、Acupuncture at vertigo-auditory area cooperated with Jiaji points can imrove conditions of symptom and function of vertigo and Vm of LV,RV,BV. The curative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.Scalp acupunture can be used to treat Cervical Vertigo.2、Acupuncture at vertigo-auditory area cooperated with Jiaji points to treat Cervical Vertigo can can produce efficacy immediately.Scalp aupunture has a good short-term effects.
