PurposeBy observing the therapeutic effects of acupuncture at six points of Sun Meridian on cervical vertigo and comparing it with routine acupuncture, using the clinical and functional rating scale of cervical vertigo, neck pain scale and TCD scale were used as observation indexes, and observing the clinical curative effects with scientific and precise attitude.to evaluate whether acupuncture at six points of the Sun Meridian is superior to conventional acupuncture in the treatment of cervical vertigo, and to provide different treatment methods and ideas for clinical treatment of cervical vertigo, and to facilitate clinical popularization.MethodSixty-six patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,33 patients in each group were divided into two groups: treatment group(n = 33)and control group(n = 33).In the treatment group, the six points of the sun meridian were mainly used to treat cervical vertigo, while the control group was treated with routine acupuncture, once a day,10 times as a course of treatment. After each course of treatment, the patient was told to rest for one day and continue the next course of treatment. After 2 courses of treatment, the clinical and functional scores of cervical vertigo, neck pain scale and TCD were observed and recorded in two groups. In the end,the collected data were processed then the conclusions were drawn.Results(1)The results of the symptoms and functional integration of the cervical vertigo(ESV)showed that the integration of the pre-treatment group and the control group was few distinct difference, which has comparability(P> 0.05).After two courses of treatment,in comparison of the integration of two groups before and after, the differences have statistical significance(P <0.05).(2)the results of NPQ scale showed that there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group before treatment(P > 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group. After two courses of treatment, there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).(3)the results of TCD showed that the TCD values of basilar artery and vertebral artery before treatment in the treatment group and control group were all P > 0.05,there was no significant difference between the two groups, and there was comparability between the two groups. After two courses of treatment, the TCD values of basilar artery and vertebral artery were significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.05),and there was statistical significance between the two groups(P <0.05).(4)Clinical efficacy: after 2 courses of treatment,7 cases were cured in the treatment group,15 cases were obviously effective,8 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 90.91%;In the control group,4 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,14 cases were effective and 6 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 88.82%,P < 0.05,there was statistical significance between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion(1)Both acupuncture methods can improve vertigo and related symptoms, but theeffect of acupuncture on six points of Sun Meridian is better than that of conventional acupuncture.(2)Both acupuncture methods can relieve neck and shoulder pain, but acupuncture of six points of Sun Meridian is better than conventional acupuncture.(3)Both acupuncture methods can improve the blood supply of vertebrobasilar artery, but the improvement degree of acupuncture at six points of Sun Meridian is better than that of conventional acupuncture.(4)Both acupuncture methods are effective for cervical vertigo, but acupuncture at six points of Sun Meridian is more effective than conventional acupuncture.
