Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Cervical Vertigo By Acupuncture Of Fengchi,Wangu,Tianzhu With Cervical Jiaji Points

Research purposes:To observe the clinical effect of Cervical Vertigo treated by Acupuncture of Fengchi,Wangu,Tianzhu with cervical Jiaji points Research objects and methods:To select patients with cervical vertigo who received treatment in the outpatient and ward of acupuncture department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2020 to February 2021,a total of 60 patients tallying with the relevant criteria were collected,that were divided into observation group and control group averagely and stochastically though generating random numbers with statistical software.The observation group was treated by acupuncture Fengchi,Wangu,Tianzhu and cervical Jiaji points.The control group was treated by acupuncture cervical Jiaji C3-6 points.All patients were treated once a day,with 6 days as a course of treatment,after each course to rest a day,a total of two courses.Finally,compare the therapeutic effect between the two groups,according to the score of Evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo(ESCV)and Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)before and after treatment.Research result:All 60 subjects completed this experiment.The experimental results are as follows.1.By statistical analysis of gender,age,blood pressure,the score of ESCV and DHI before treatment between groups,the differences weren’t statistical criteria(P>0.05)and had comparability.2.After treatment,the scores of the two groups about Cervical Vertigo Symptoms and Functional Assessment Scales before and after treatment were compared.The scores of each group were compared within the group by paired sample T test,P﹤0.01,that meant both two groups can obviously improve patients’ vertigo symptoms and functions.By independent samples T test to compare between groups,P﹤0.01,the curative effect of the observation group was distinctly superior to the other group.3.After treatment,comparing the DHI scores of the two groups of patients,the treatments of two groups were both effective on the influence of body state on vertigo,the influence of vertigo on emotion and social function and vertigo handicap degree.The therapeutic effect of the observation group was obviously better than the other group.4.After treatment,the total effective rate was 96.67% in the observation group and86.67% in the control group.Compared with those before treatment,both two groups can improve the vertigo symptom and the former was obviously superior to the the latter by rank sum test,P﹤0.01.Conclusion:Both the acupuncture therapy of Fengchi,Wangu,Tianzhu with cervical Jiaji points and the acupuncture therapy of cervical Jiaji points can alleviate the symptom of vertigo and mitigate the effects of vertigo on emotion and social function.The treatment effect of the former is superior to the latter.This method is ideal,because it can effectively improve the symptom of dizziness.So this method is worthy of further research and application in clinic.
