Objective:The purpose of the study is to use Train The Trainer mode to train the elderly in the community, to improve their knowledge and skills of care, finally evaluate the effect of training and in order to explore improve the elderly care effective mode of knowledge, for the community to carry out the elderly training to provide reference.Methods:① The training content selected:cluster sampling method, the basic situation questionnaire survey 603 community elderly people, health status and training needs, the main contents of elderly people in need of care knowledge and skills, the selection of training content.② Trainer training model application:using its own before-and-after design method of purposive sampling and snowball sampling were selected in accordance with the research into the young to the old standard community as a "trainer" and "trainee", adopt the TTT mode, by trainers to train "trainer", by "trainer" training again other young (trainee) in the elderly, using his evaluation model, the trainers and trainees reaction layer (training satisfaction), learning (training before and after the change of the elderly care knowledge and skills), the layer (number of community volunteers and volunteer service times and the old general self-efficacy) effect assessment.Results:① For the elderly the chronic diseases is high prevalence,The elderly care widespread lack of knowledge, the need for training rate is higher.②60 to 69 years old, the percent is 38% which means most of them is the young elderly.③ TT model:The effect of the generally high satisfaction of trainers and trainees for training, overall satisfaction of the training were 92.0% and 93.2% respectively.Trainers and trainees before and after the training, and knowledge have increased by 16.08 and 22.01 respectively;Skill scores were increased by 18.68,18.68,18.68,48.5 and 18.77,18.67, 39.37,18.67;General self-efficacy scores were increased by 2.42 and 2.42;In the 22 elderly volunteers training development,22 volunteers carried out in three months after the training the 31 volunteers activities.④There has established training model of the older in community.Conclusions: ①The community elderly care general lack of knowledge, and to develop the old training improve their care knowledge and skills are necessary, due to the lack of professional training of teachers, the training young to the old role into full play, expand the channels of knowledge dissemination, young as trainers for training in the elderly at the same time, to improve the enthusiasm of the elderly to participate in training, knowledge itself is also one of main methods to spread. ②TTT model in young elderly community care knowledge training practice effect is remarkable, the generally high training satisfaction, can effectively improve the young of the elderly care knowledge and skills, self-efficacy,lay the foundation for the spread of knowledge and skills in the future, for the community to carry out the old training provides basis and reference for effective experience.
