In this paper, the author mainly investigated and analyzed the resident doctor planning training in Shanghai, made an improvement of the lifelong medical education theory by statistics and data analysis, and expected the conclusions to be a reference in the standardization of resident doctor training system. In this way,the author hopes to make some contribution to the further progress of the physician training planning in China, the improvement of the overall quality and competence of China's medical service, the comprehensive enhancement of physicians' service, and the narrowing of the gap between the primary medical institutions and large hospitals.First of all,the author investigated and analyzed of the performance of standardized training with Shanghai city as an example. The Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model was adopted to examine the current training from the reaction layer, the learning layer, the behavior level and the achievement level. The results showed the following: Though aware of the training's importance, resident doctors with different educational backgrounds hold various attitudes towards the training content.Among them, those with a PhD degree may have participated in the clinical work and therefore believe in the little benefit of the standardized training. As for the satisfaction, due to the insufficient pertinence, resident doctors with master degrees and PhD degrees both keep a low satisfaction with the standardized training, especially in the examination methods and training compensation. As for the behavioral level, resident doctors greatly improve their professional quality and competence after the training. However, due to the limit of insufficient work experience at an averagely young age, they still cannot perform well in the independent treatment of common diseases and clinical thinking ability. Finally, the author also analyzed the shortcomings existing in the standardized resident doctor training in Shanghai and proposed the corresponding improvement measures and suggestions. As for the training content, the differentiated training content should target at residents with different educational and positional backgrounds;as for the training incentive,it should be conducted from both trainers and trainees: on the one hand, the training should be linked up with the promotion to motivate the trainers, while the salary during the trainings should be increased to enhance the trainees' sense of belonging and study will.As for the effect enhancement, the training performance feedback should be strengthened to encourage the trainees' continuous learning motivation and to practically improve the performance of the standardized resident doctor training.
