Period of treatment:Neostigmine Buttock-injection for first day and observing for next two days. The residual urine volume changes according to Color Doppler ultrasound examination, the time and the amount of urine of first urinating after treatment, as well as the safety index, case shedding should be recorded. The observation results will be used as evaluation criterions of effect, safety and compliance of acupuncture treatment of postpartum urinary retention.Result①After a period of treatment, the residual urine volume according to Color Doppler ultrasound examination of the patients of the treatment group and the control group had significant difference as before (P< 0.01). ②After a period of treatment, the residual urine volume according to Color Doppler ultrasound examination between the patients of the treatment group and the control group had significant difference (P<0.01). ③After a period of treatment, the time and the amount of urine of first urinating between the patients of the treatment group and the control group had significant difference (P<0.01).④The effective rate of treatment of the treatment group reached 96.7%. The effective rate of treatment of the control group is 50%. There is significant difference (P<0.05) between two groups. ⑤There is no significant difference of vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, breathe, rhythm of the heart) for two groups before and after treatment. No patient in the treatment group had adverse reactions related to treatment. But a patient in control group had shaking after five minutes of Neostigmine injection. The sign alleviated after ten minutes. ⑥The depigmentation rate is 0%.ConclusionAcupuncture treatment of postpartum urinary retention has significant curative effect.
