Background: The urinary retention, defined as longbi category in the Chinesemedicine, is a common disease clinically, whose performance is the full urinarybladder, the distending pain in lower abdomen and even the disability ofurination. Most cases occur after anorectal operations, childbirth, orthopedicspinal operations and the pelvic cavity surgery, etc. It belongs to the surgicalemergency and appears the disability of urination in short time. The pathogenicfactor of the disease is so complicated and the pathogenesis involves manysystems. While the treatment of the modern medicine effects little and affectsthe patients a lot.Purpose:The discussion of acupuncture to releave the anorectal surgicalpatients’urinary retention due to the infusion pupm.Methord: Sixty anorectal postoperative patients who suffered from roschesiswith the infusion pupm were randomly divided into two groups, which include thetreatment group(n=30) and the observation group(n=30). To acupuncture on thebilateral sanyinjiao, guanyuan, zhongji in the treatment group, and theobservation group is a blank control group. To observe the change of roschesisafter the acupuncture, compare the rate of each group’s catheterization.Results: the clinical effective rate of the treatment group is92.9%, and therate of the catheterization is7.1%, while the blank control group’s is68.7%.it illustrates that the treatment group has more effects than the blank controlgroup.Conclusion:Acupuncture has an effect on preventing and curing roschesis forthe postoperative patients with the infusion pupm.
