Objective:Based on the three dimensions of cognitive, emotion and will action, tried to investigate the social attitude of residents in Chongqing towards community health services compressively and to provide a reference for the development of community health services.Methods:From December 2013 to February 2014, the questionnaire was conducted in 450 residents from 9 districts in Chongqing by random stratified sampling. The questionnaire is a self-designed one, included the basic situation, and cognitive, emotion and will action tendency of residents. After recycling, software Epidate 3.1 and SPSS 19.0 were used to date analysis.Results:1.402 valid questionnaires were collected. The survey indicates that 86.1%of residents heard of community health service and 53.7% once made use of it.2. The residents’ overall satisfaction with community health service was scored 2.67±0.785. There are significant difference between marital status, and the use of community health services.3. The evaluation of cognitive was not satisfied. The proportion of residents who correctly understood the nature of work, the service and the Medicare Payment of community health service are 91.91%, 38.44% and 53.85%.4. The evaluation of emotion was not satisfied. The average score from low to high were waiting tine (2.40), geographical accessibility (2.47), service attitude (2.58), diagnosis and treatment (2.64), medical facilities (2.73), reasonable charge (2.74), comfortable environment (2.82) and complete service (2.87).5. The evaluation of will action was not satisfied. The average score of tendency for the community health service clinic preferred was 2.71, while recommended tendency (2.85), royalty behavior tendency (3.15) and consulting behavior tendency (3.10).6. Spearman correlation coefficient of the attitudes with three dimensions of cognitive, emotional tendencies, will action was respectively 0.258,0.697, and 0.639.Conclusion:1. More than half residents do not have a good understanding of community health service. There is much improvement about Community health service.2. The evaluation of social attitude of residents in Chongqing toward Community health service is low.3. The evaluation of cognitive, emotion and will action tendency of residents are low.4. There is positive correlation between cognitive and social attitude, so are emotional tendencies and will action.
