BackgroundNutriology of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the study of the theory and application of TCM diet subject. It is the wisdom which Chinese people use to maintain health and cure disease for long time. Human beings from ancient times in the search for the fullness of the goods found in the health and medical value of food. Nutrition played an important role from ancient time human discovering the food had medical value in the process of finding food to the appearance of medical liquor and soup. In Zhou dynasty’food doctor’made TCM nutrition more specialized. In the period of Qin and Han "inner Cannon of Yellow Emperor" discussed food nutrition systematically and laid the basis of TCM nutrition."Shennong’s Herbal" recorded lots of food to concern the theory of one root of medicine and food. The period of Tang, Song and Yuan is the important time of TCM and TCM nutrition. From that time the emergence of dietotherapy of special articles (Sun simiao’s "qianjinyaofang" twenty sixth volumes of food therapy), and dietary food phytotherapy (mengxian"therapeutic material medica"). In Ming and Qing a lot of food heath nutrious book appeared.《Compendium of Material Medical》 riched the range of food. In recent years, with the progress of the society, Chinese traditional nutriology has further development in the TCM care plays an important role in the preventing and curing disease. Purpose In2009women’s social secretary ministry of health results in the health literacy levels in mainland China:organizational citizenship sampling survey, the overall level of China’s citizen health literacy was only6.48%. At present, it is not clear that the grass-roots community residents groups, understanding and application of TCM nutrition status. The actual application for the community residents of this grass-roots group is also worth our attention to get diet and nutrition knowledge, whether there is blank, ambiguous or even wrong, need to be investigated.carding, analysis, so that the nutritional knowledge of TCM can widely used real. I designed a questionnaire, conducted a survey of community residents in Xinjiekou community of Beijing Xicheng district, with modern scientific methods of investigation, from the Chinese nutrition knowledge and practical analyses on the residents of TCM nutrition of the concept and the specific implementation, for the future of the community medical missionary work to find the right direction and cut in point, and provide a solid data and information support for community medicine practice. MethodFor the TCM literature review relevant sections of Professor WengWeijian’ s "TCM diet nutrition" and Professor Zhou jian’s "TCM nutrition" the nutrition content as guidance, combined with clinical experience and the tutor, exploratory design "awareness and behavior questionnaire recognition of TCM nutrition of community residents".To participate in the survey from April to August2014in Xicheng district Xin jiekou community health service center, medical treatment or counseling the community residents,500effective questionnaires were collected.Basic information collection residents to establish database, using the statistical method, analysis of residents for the factors of TCM nutrition awareness and influence. ResultThe nutrition knowledge score lower point, including basic knowledge of nutrition part reflects residents still exist blank for food properties, effects and the diet principle concept. Diet nutrition clinical application part mainly focuses on the diet taboos, residents in the answer selection have leakage phenomenon, shows residents to master the principle of diet taboo is not comprehensive. Diet nutrition attitude part, the majority of residents feel they need to learn nutrition knowledge of TCM medicine. Residents to understand the source of knowledge of nutrition is main media. They hope that through the communication with medical staff face to face to obtain nutrition knowledge of individual. In the investigation of dietary nutrition behavior, the knowledge of health care food for the residents is lack of understanding. The choice of specific corresponding diet food in clinical cases to a higher rate of correct. Finally, in the diet nutrition correlation analysis of three aspects of the letter, there are known for inconsistency. Conclusion1. Residents overall knowledge is not ideal,especially for the recognition performance with low food knowledge, should be aimed at all kinds of focus groups, to strengthen the education.2. In all influencing factors, residents of Chinese traditional nutriology knowledge have significant difference. For people with chronic health conditions of the nutrition knowledge, attitude.behavior score significantly better than non chronic patient.3. Most of the residents can grasp some of Chinese traditional nutriology knowledge to guide the daily life, but the knowledge learning is narrow.4. Residents demand for traditional Chinese medicine nutrition knowledge, hope to get knowledge to guide the practice more.5. The current residents access to Chinese traditional nutrilolgy knowledge in dispersion media is given priority to,also hope that through lectures and face-to-face exchanges with nutrition staff, and get individual guidance.To sum up, the community residents understand the nutrition knowledge of TCM,but understanding is not much. It is not comprehensive and accurate. Therefore, it is urgent to develop Chinese medicine nutrition of missionary work in the community and extended to more people.
