Clinical Efficacy Studies Of Qingyan Bag Soaking Agent’s Treatment In Children With Acute Pharyngitis

Purpose:Participants are randomly assigned to therapy group and control group. Therapy group was given Qingyan bag soaking agent with boiled water. And the other group was treated with LanQin oral liquid. We want to observe the clinical efficacy of Qingyan bag soaking agent’s treatment in children with the wind-heat type of acute pharyngitis.Methods:85 cases of wind-heat type of acute pharyngitis patients were used the method of SAS envelope to randomly divided into 2 groups, the treatment group 42 cases were given Qingyan bag soaking agent with boiled water,43 patients were treated LanQin oral liquid. The treatment lasted five days.We used Semi-quantitative method to score cardinal symptom, minor symptom and signs. We score the main symptoms of severe 6 points, moderate for 4,2 for a mild, normal is zero;the minor symptoms of severe 3 points,2 points for moderate, mild for 1 points, normally zero, statistics total score before and after treatment, calculate the efficacy of index, determine the efficacy.Results:1.42 patients taking the Qingyan bag soaking agent treated for 2 days,4 cases of clinical cure, remarkably effective in 20 cases, effective in 9 cases, no effective in 9 cases, the total efficiency 78.57%,the clinical cure rate 9.52%; 43 patients taking the LanQin oral liquid,2 cases of clinical cure, remarkably effective in 15 cases, effective in 12 cases,14 cases ineffective, the total efficiency of 67.44%,the clinical cure rate 4.65%.We calculated both P values greater than 0.05, the two groups show no statistical difference.2.42 patients taking the Qingyan bag soaking agent treated for 5 days,the total efficiency was 92.86%,the clinical cure rate was 38.10%; 43 patients taking the LanQin oral liquid, the total efficiency was 74.42%,the clinical cure rate was 23.26%. We respectively analyzed the total efficiency and the clinical cure rate conducted on the two drugs. We could conclude that the curative effect of Qingyan bag soaking agent is more significant than LanQin oral liquid after the treatment for five days.3.The total scores of both groups, signs and symptoms scores of the treatment group were significantly improved after the treatment(P<0.01).Both of LanQin oral liquid and Qingyan bag soaking agent can alleviate the symptoms of wind-heat type of acute pharyngitis..Conclusion:Qingyan bag soaking agent can treat wind-heat type of acute pharyngitis, effectively relieve patients’ symptoms and signs for 2-5days.
