Clinical Study On Qingreliyan Acupuncture Prescription Combined With Amoxicillin Capsules Treatment Of Wind-heat Type Acute Pharyngitis

Obj ective:Evaluation of clinical curative effect of qingreliyan acupuncture prescription combined with Amoxicillin Capsules treatment of wind-heat type acute pharyngitis.Method:After collecting 60 patients with acute pharyngitis caused by wind-heat according to the diagnostic criteria of western medicine as well as traditional Chinese medicine from Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Medicine during 8 months from Jan,2017 to Aug,2017,I divided them into 2 groups randomly.Thirty patients in the treated group were asked to take Amoxicillin Capsules(0.5g,Tid)and were treated by acupuncture to clear heat and relieve sore throat.In the contrast,the other 30 patients in the controlled group were asked to take Amoxicillin Capsules(0.5g,Tid)only.The periods of treatment in the 2 groups were both 5 days.According to the graded and quantified integral for acute pharyngitis symptoms,I observed 3 times totally(before the treatment,in the third day and the fifth day during the treatment),and followed up' these patients in 7 days after the treatment.The observation indexes are the symptom score and the quantity of leucocyte in the routine blood test.The clinical efficacy is judged according to the decrease of symptom scores.This study is carried out by analyzing the variation of the data before the treatment,during the treatment and after the treatment in the comparisons between the treated group and the controlled group.Result:A.Sixty patients in this study never dropped out during the whole research.B.Comparison of data:the cure rate is 60%in treated group and 33.33%in controlled group;the effective power is 96.67%in treated group and 73.33%in controlled group(P<0.05).The effects on the treated group is better than that on the controlled group obviously.C.In graded and quantified integral of these two groups,the result of single symptom and sign including sore throat,dry throat and Hyperemia of pharynx mucous membrane after treatment is better than before.The difference of the scores of the general symptom as well as main symptom in the 3th day and the 5th day is statistically significant(P<0.05),which shows that the result of the treated group with addition of acupuncture is better than the controlled group.D.After treatment,the quantity of leucocyte in the both groups is small than that before the treatment.The difference of the quantity of leucocyte after treatment is statistically significant(P<0.05),which shows that in the part of inflammation improvement,the treated group is better than the controlled group.E.In the seven-days follow-up after treatment,the difference of the scores of general symptom is statistically significant(P<0.05),which shows that the long-term curative effect of the treated group is better than that of the controlled group.In 7 days after treatment,there was no recurrence of Acute Pharyngitis in the patients from the two groups,showing that the recurrence rates of two groups are comparable.F.The patients suffering from untoward effects in the treated group was obviously less that of the controlled group.There was no serious untoward effect during the treatment.Conclusion:Using Amoxicillin Capsules and acupuncture together to treat those suffering from Acute Pharyngitis caused by wind-heat,which is a better than using Amoxicillin Capsules only.It is also a better way for ameliorating general as well as main symptom signs and is helpful for long-term treatment.
