A Clinical Study On Self-derived Prescription Of Kidney Tonification And Dehumidification For Treating DOR Caused By Kidney Deficiency And Pathogenic Dampness

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of self-derived Prescription of Kidney Tonification and Dehumidification for Treating DOR and to roughly explore its functional mechanism.Methods:136patients were divided into two groups at random:the TCM group (68cases, took a self-derived prescription of Kidney Tonification and Dehumidification orally) and the western medicine group (68cases, took Estradiol Valerate and Progesterone Soft Capsules orally). The levels of FSH, LH, E2and T, ratio changes in FSH/LH, changes in the ovarian volumes and the improvements of clinical symptoms on the third day of menses were observed both before and after the treatment. And the differences between two groups were also observed.Results:1. Compared with the western medicine group, the TCM group had better curative effects in improving the menstrual color and quality, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, intolerance of cold, distention of the breasts, irritability, insomnia and dreaminess, coolness extremities, distending pain in lower abdomen and other symptoms, but had little curative effect in restoring the menstrual cycle. After western medicine therapy, the menstruations of patients were basically restored to the normal cycle, but the effect in improving the TCM symptoms was poor. The total score of clinical symptoms in both groups before and after treatment had statistical significance (P<0.01). After treatment the total score of clinical symptoms between two groups had statistical significance (P<0.01). Curative effect of the TCM group was better. 2. There were significant differences in the levels of FSH, LH, E2, FSH/LH, T in the TCM group before and after the treatment (P<0.01). There were significant differences in the levels of FSH, E2, FSH/LH in the western medicine group before and after the treatment (P<0.01), but insignificant differences in the levels of T and LH (P>0.05). Comparing the hormone levels after the treatments, the differences in FSH were insignificant (P>0.05), but the differences in LH、FSH/LH、E2、T were significant (P<0.01). The TCM group showed a better curative effect. There was a significant difference in left ovarian volumes before and after treatments in the TCM group (P<0.01), but no significant differences in right ovarian volumes(P>0.05). There were no significant statistic differences in ovarian volumes before and after treatments in the western medicine group(P>0.05).3. In the TCM group,9patients were cured,26patients had significant effects,33patients had good effects and no patient had no effect; in the western medicine group,4patients were cured,9patients had significant effects,43patients had good effects and12patient had no effect; A comparison in the curative effects in two groups was statistically meaningful and showed significant differences (P<0.01). The TCM group showed a better curative effects.4. In the TCM group3patients had diarrhea and1patient had dizziness. In the western medicine group in comparison3patients felt swelled ache in breasts,1had headache and2had dizziness. There were no significant statistic differences in the liver and kidney functions in two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions:The self-derived prescription of kidney tonification and dehumidification has significant curative effects in improving the soreness and weakness of waist and knees, headache, intolerance of cold and other discomforts It can promote the pregnancy, regulate the hormone level, promote the follicle development, maturity and ovulation, increase the ovarian volume and protect the liver etc. So we have made the conclusion that the self-derived prescription of kidney tonification and dehumidification has significant clinical curative effect.
