Purpose: The purpose of this experiment is to study the influence of Qingzhi Decoctionon serum total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL–C) levels.Method: The method of preparing hyperlipidemic animal model is to feed high-fatanimal feed. The Wistar rats which have been the hyperlipidemic animal model, is dividedinto blank group, model group, positive control group (xuezhikang group), Qingzhi Decoctionlow dose group, Qingzhi Decoction dose group and Qingzhi Decoction high dose group. Theblank group and model group are filled the stomach with distilled water once a day in theprocess of experiment, positive control group (xuezhikang group) with xuezhikang mixedsuspension(about0.185g/kg), Qingzhi Decoction low dose group, dose group and high dosegroup with different concentrations’Qingzhi Decoction(about8.8g/kg、17.6g/kg、35.2g/kg).During filling the stomach, blank group continue to feed the ordinary animal feed, and the restof groups feed the high-fat animal feed, and all groups are free to drink water. Continuing tofill the stomach about28days, rats are forbidden to feed, but free to drink water after lastfilling the stomach. At least12hours later, all of hyperlipidemic model rats are been cut tail todraw blood specimens in order to test the serum TC, TG and LDL-C content, recording andanalyzing the data.Result: After filling the stomach about14days, compared the blank group to modelgroup, positive control group (xuezhikang group), Qingzhi Decoction low dose group,Qingzhi Decoction dose group and Qingzhi Decoction high dose group, the rats’ serum TC,TG and LDL-C content are significantly higher(P<0.05).It shows that hyperlipidemic modelrats have been built. After filling the stomach about28days, the rats’ serum TC contentrespectively are (4.52±0.22)mmol/L in control group (xuezhikang group),(5.09±0.16)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction low dose group,(4.56±0.13)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoctiondose group, and (4.49±0.32)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction high dose group, and these dataare below the (6.55±0.24)mmol/L in model group, so, that shows differences(P<0.05).Therats’ serum TG content respectively are (1.41±0.26)mmol/L in control group (xuezhikanggroup),(2.04±0.10)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction low dose group,(1.52±0.19)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction dose group, and (1.35±0.21)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction high dosegroup, and these data are below the (2.51±0.20)mmol/L in model group, so, that showsdifferences (P<0.05). The rats’serum LDL-C content respectively are(2.73±0.23)mmol/L incontrol group (xuezhikang group),(3.35±0.12)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction low dose group,(2.76±0.18)mmol/L in Qingzhi Decoction dose group, and(2.71±0.19)mmol/L in QingzhiDecoction high dose group, and these data are below the(4.48±0.29)mmol/L in model group,so, that shows differences(P<0.05). Among them, there are differences (P<0.05) betweencontrol group (xuezhikang group) to Qingzhi Decoction low dose group on serum TC, TGand LDL-C, but there are no differences between control group (xuezhikang group) toQingzhi Decoction dose group and Qingzhi Decoction high dose group. It indicates that thetreatment effect is connected with drug concentration.Conclusion: The studies have shown that Qingzhi Decoction can adjust the lipidmetabolism disorders of hyperlipidemic rats (plegm and bood stasis), reduce the blood lipidlevels of the hyperlipidemic rats, and has played a guiding role for the promotion of clinicalapplication.
