Clinical Study Of TianZhi Granules In Treatment Of Vascular Dementia(Hyperactivity Of Liver-yang Syndrome)

Purpose: To investigate the curative effect of TianZhi granules of hyperactive ofliver-yang syndrome in the treatment of vascular dementia, to explore an effective way oftraditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of vascular dementia.Method:60patients with vascular dementia of hyperactive of liver-yang syndrome wereselected as the research object, were randomly divided into treatment group30cases andcontrol group30cases. The control group was given Donepezil Hcl (brand name Aricept).Treatment group was given TianZhi granules. After24weeks treatment, evaluated changes ofpatients of CIBIC-plus, MMSE, ADAS-cog, GYSK.Result: The treatment group and control group respectively in the treatment of4weeks,12weeks and24weeks of MMSE, ADAS-cog, GYSK, CIBIC-plus ratings comparedbetween group and group. Among them, in the fourth week, MMSE, ADAS-cog, GYSK,CIBIC-plus within the two group of comparison, P>0.05, no statistical significance,comparison between groups P>0.05, no statistical significance. Treatment group and controlgroup in the treatment of12weeks of MMSE, ADAS-cog, CIBIC-plus compared betweengroups, P>0.05, no statistical significance, the comparison in the group, P <0.01, there isstatistical significance; Comparison between GYSK group, P <0.01, there is statisticalsignificance, the comparison in the group P <0.01, with statistical significance. At24weeks,MMSE, ADAS-cog, CIBIC-plus comparison between two groups, P>0.05, no statisticalsignificance, the comparison in the group P <0.01, there is statistical significance; The GYSKcomparison between groups, P <0.01, there is statistical significance, the comparison in thegroup P <0.01, with statistical significance.Conclusion: TianZhi granules treatment of vascular dementia has significant curativeeffect, can alleviate patients’ cognitive function, behavior, ability, and can significantlyimprove dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia, dry mouth bitter swallow, tinnitus, lumbardebility, heart palpitations, coating on the tongue and pulse condition of traditional Chinesemedicine syndrome. It is better than donepezil HCL. Although on the overall clinical curativeeffect TianZhi granules is obviously improved, but there was no significant difference ofcurative effect with the control. Visible, TianZhi granules is vascular dementia essence of liver Yang syndrome effective prescription on treatment.
