Objective: To investigate the relationship between the big five personality traits of medical personnel and organizational citizenship behavior, and the mediating role of psychological contract.Method: The site and mail survey in Anhui area were selected form 2 3A public hospitals, 3 public hospitals, two a 1 two a private hospital, by using the method of random sampling questionnaire were issued, 286 questionnaires were distributed, 258 questionnaires recovered, the recovery rate of 90.2%. Remove invalid questionnaire 23, a total of 225 valid questionnaires, effective rate was 87.2%.Results:(1) significant positive correlation to the big five personality characteristics of medical staff conscientiousness, openness, agreeableness, extraversion and psychologicalcontract internal cause type, while the external inducement type mental stability and the psychological contract is significantly correlated to;(2) significant positive correlation to the big five personality characteristics of medical staff conscientiousness, openness, agreeableness, extraversion and organizational citizenship behavior dimensions of civil liability, significant positive correlation positive dimension openness, agreeableness, extraversion and organizational citizenship behavior participation, significant positive correlation and responsible behavior dimensions of conscientiousness and organizational citizenship behavior;(3) significant positive correlation between the three dimensions of psychological contract of medical staff internal incentives and organizational citizenship behavior, actively participate in civic responsibility, conscientious behavior, significantly positive related to conscientiousness dimension external incentives and organizational citizenship behavior;(4) in personality traits effect on organizational citizenship behavior, psychological contract internal cause type plays a mediating role.
