Research On Building A Quality Control System For Standardized Resident Training In Fujian Province

The standardized training of residents is a special stage of education for medical students to help them turn into qualified clinicians after graduation. The training has an irreplaceable role to cultivate high-quality medical talents and improve the level of medical technology and the quality of medical service. However, the present resident training system in China is not good enough to play the role. Therefore, in order to realize the goal of cultivating medical talents with high quality, a resident standardization training quality control system, which suiting for Chinese situation as well as being geared to international standards, must be set up.In this essay, it is based on China’s national conditions, also the standardized training of residents in Fujian province to carry out, It follows the rules and characteristics of medical personnel training. Firstly, it comprehensively reviews the history and the relative evolution of residency training in China and Fujian Province, and analyzes the present situation of residency training, it fully absorbs the residency training work experience and lessons to point out the significance of standardized residents training in quality control system construction. In addition, a comparative study in the currentt situation of resident standardizaton training in the United States of America, Britian, and Canadais carried out. It offers some experience and reference for Fujian province to construct of standardized residents training quality control system. The essay puts forward the overall design of standardized residents training in quality control system in Fujian province, relying on the research on the basic theory of total quality management, and the educational evaluation. Finally, it reachs a goal to establish a scientific, feasible and standardized quality-control system for the standardized training of residents, through the discussion on countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the standardized training of residents and quality control system, and achieve international standards.
