Observation Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Treating Knee Osteoarthritis By Acupuncture Combined With Massage

Objective:The article was to observe the clinical efficacy in curing knee osteoarthritis by the treatment of acupuncture combined with massage.Method:The192patients with Knee Osteoarthritis were randomly chosen and divided into two groups:the treatment group contained97cases and the control group contained95cases.The treatment group was treated by acupuncture with massage, and the control group was treated by only acupuncture.To observe its clinical efficacy compared with the control group from the points of symptoms and signs.Result:(1)In the treatment group which had97patients, the total effective rate was90.72%. In the control group which had95patients, the total effective rate was86.32%. There was significant difference between the two groups after statistical treatment(P<0.05).(2) After treatment, the score of the two groups was higher than before, the same group has the significant difference (P<0.01) before and after the treatment; it was showed that the treatment group and control group had both good efficacy in improving the symptoms and signs of knee osteoarthritis. In addition to the SF-36mental health score, other scores of the treatment group was higher significantly compared with the control group, there was a significant difference (P<0.05or P<0.01) between the two groups. The treatment group was obviously superior to the control group in improving the symptoms and signs points of knee osteoarthritis.Conclusion:the treatment of acupuncture with massage of curing knee osteoarthritis can improve the clinical symptoms and signs significantly, The operation is relatively simple and feasible, its worth promoting.
