| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the treating knee osteoarthritis,with acupuncture around kneecap and massage knee, explore its mechanism, and supply the clinical evidence for clinical treatment methods widely.Methods: 60 cases were randomly divided into two groups, treated group and control group. The treated group (30 cases) was taken by acupuncture around kneecap and massage knee, while the control group (30cases) was taken by manipulation to osteoarthritis for Tui Na Xue ( Writen by Yan Jun Tao). The clinical curative effect was compared between the treated group and control group,using "50 points of addition and subtraction"as their evaluation standards.The score of the therapeutic effects were processed by statistical methods. And the conclusion was got finally.Result: There is a significant difference between the treated group and the control group (P<0.05). And in the treated group, it is superior to the control group with enhancing symptoms and relieving pains.Conclusion: The treatment of acupuncture around kneecap and massage knee for the knee joint osteoarthritis patients can improve symptoms, enhance living quality, relieve the change of joint cartilage of patients and it can also prevent the conditions of patients to become more seriously. Because of the characteristics its effect, practicality, safety and economy, it deserves a wide expansion to the clinical patients.
