Clinical Study Of Massage Combined With Acupuncture On Neck-Jiaji On Cervical Spondylosis Of Nerve Root Type

Cervical Spondylosis is a common and frequently-occurring disease in clinical, especially for cervical spondylosis of nerve root type. The chief symptom includes pain and numbness of cervical and shoulders and upper limb. Now, more and more people get this disease, whatever how old are you. Chinese medicine (TCM), especially acupuncture and moxibustion and massage has unique advantage in treating cervical spondylosis of nerve root type. This part analyses cervical spondylosis of nerve root type treatment by acupuncture and moxibustion and massage, based on lots articles about the knowledge of TCM for cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, also together with lots of clinical cases observation and study. Objective:To study effects of a combined regime of massage and acupuncture on Neck-Jiaji in treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type and make a preliminary revelation of mechanisms treated by auricular-plaster and body acupuncture. Methods:131patients were randomly divided into2groups, a comparison of following indexes between the treatment group received massage combined with acupuncture and the control group received treatment with massage, clinical overall therapeutic effect, special function examine and image indexes. Results:The treatment group was better than the control group in clinical overall therapeutic effect. Twenty-eight cases were clinical control with clinical control rate of43.76%, in ttreatment group. Twenty-two cases were clinical control with clinical control rate of36.67%, in control group. Compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Therapeutic effect on treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type with massage combined with acupuncture on Neck-Jiaji are better than only with massage, especially for relieve neck-shoulder-upper limb pain.
