Observation On Therapeutic Effect Of Acupuncture At Cervival 1.0Cun Jiaji Point On Cervical Spondylosis Of Vertebral Artery Type

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of 1.0 inch Jiaji point by Acupuncture on the treatment of vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis, and to explore the optimum plan for acupuncture and moxibustion for treating this disease.Methods:The study included 45 patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type which were randomly divided into two groups,25 cases of the observation group and 20 cases of the control group. The observation group was treated with acupuncture at cervical 1.0 inch Jiaji point, and the control group was treated with acupuncture at cervical 0.5 inch Jiaji point. Both were treated with reinforcing reducing manipulation for 50min every day and keep the treatment for 3 weeks. Compare the difference between two kinds of treatment with vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis clinical evaluation scale and clinical observation on the therapeutic.Results:1. After treatment the clinical scale scores of two groups of patients were significantly increased than before, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.01).2. The clinical scale scores of the two groups of patients had no significant difference before treatment, it is comparable. After treatment in the two groups of patients with clinical scale score comparison, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), Observation group score increased more significantly than that of control group.3. The total effective rate of observation group was 92%:control group total effectiveness 80%, two groups of efficiency was no significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusion:1. Acupuncture cervical spine of 1.0 inches of Jiaji acupoint selection, this kind of method is effective in the treatment of vertebral artery type of cervical disease.2. Acupuncture cervical spine of 1.0 cun of Jiaji points for the treatment of vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis is better than the acupuncture spinous process of 0.5 inches of Jiaji points in improving the symptoms, signs, improve the ability to live and work.
