Objective:To investigated the relationship between the hospital culture and performance and the influence of the hospital culture on performance,we have read the theory literature of the hospital culture and performance and studied the actual management of three public hospitals in Chongqing.While,the research finding will enrich the related theory,guide the human resource management of hospitals,improve the reform of public hospitals and provide a useful reference for the construction of organizational culture.Method:1.Document Analysis:Through going through all related reference material,we have know the situation at home or abroad.2.Expert interview:Based on the investigation interview expert of hospitals,the suggestions on hospital culture and performance are got.3.Questionnaire survey:According related material,the questionnaire were designed.And the objects were Chongqing ninth people’s hospital,the Jiangbei hospital and the first people’s hospital of Chongqing new north zone.We concluded their situation of management and gave some advices.4.Statistical analysis:We analysis the data by statistical methods to understand the the interaction relationship between hospital culture and performance.Result:The three dimensions of cultural factors and employees’ satisfaction showed the marked positive correlation.It prove that if the hospitals pay more attention on social responsibility consciousness, competition consciousness,cultivation for the staff,communication with staff,staff’s participation,study,the attention on patients,there will be higher staff satisfaction and patient satisfaction.Not standard hospital system will lead to lower staff satisfaction and patient satisfaction.Conclusion:1.The relevant units should pay more attention to social responsibility, and adhere to the concept "patient-centered".2.Standardized management system should be constructed.3.The salary incentive mechanism should be enriched,and the staffs’ inner-appeal must be paid more attention.4.The hospitals should strengthen communication to staff and enhance their identification to the organization.5.The hospitals should emphasize competition culture,customer orientation,and train staffs to pursue excellence.6.The influence of the informal organization to employee satisfaction should be attached importance.
