With the development of our country’s medical and health services, hospitals’ management system along with the ever-changing, At this stage, the hospitals’ management model is gradually become more scientific, systematic and institutionalized. Today’s society, hospitals exist in our society is mostly a non-profit, most of them are public and nonprofit hospitals. Its functions include teaching, medical and other. Performance management of the health care system is becoming an important symbol of the modern hospitals management. Therefore, a in-depth study of the performance management system the hospital, especially the performance management system of nonprofit hospitals, has an important role to actively promote the government objective, comprehensive, scientific evaluation of the non-profit hospital performance. The study on performance management tools which suitable for non-profit hospitals, as well as operable and scientific performance evaluation index system, can promote the development of domestic medicine, at the same time cultivate an environment of healthy competition among hospitals. Performance management for hospital plays an important role for improving the satisfaction of the staff of the hospitals, and improve the efficiency of hospital operation, and can improve employee performance and job performance of the various departments, but also help the workers of the potential development and personal growth.So, this article based on the previous literature, as well as the status of questionnaire, compiled M hospitals performance management system and its associated business data, the status of performance appraisal and management of nonprofit hospitals investigation, analysis deeply about the problems and causes, then made recommendations.In addition, this article analysis the problems faced by the non profit hospitals’ performance management,found that the problem of balance between the costs of health care, quality and speed of the medical services is very serious. Cultural soil of the hospitals has a very important affect on hospital’s performance management system. M hospital’s performance management and assessment index system need to be further improved.
