With the development of science and technology, automation and intelligence have been prevalent in every industry, intelligent transportation industry is also the case, especially the urban public transport, the traditional vehicle integrated machine needs to rely on human operation to achieve the voice station and other related operations, which not only affect the vehicle traffic safety, but also increase the accident, for this situation and market demand, this paper research and develop a bus information management platform based on Linux system. The research object of this system is a new generation of information integrated management platform, which is based on ARM9 as the core and the hardware platform, which is based on the embedded Linux system and MiniGUI graphical interface technology. The system platform is the use of GPS technology to realize real-time positioning of the bus, which is not only to achieve manual and automatic station, including the detection of the bus station, tips for abnormal state, real-time video monitoring, automatic passenger flow counting and other public transportation business, and then using GPRS technology to send the vehicle information to the monitoring center and electronic stop sign, which can realize intelligent management and reasonable scheduling of bus. Using GoogleProtobuf technology to realize the serialization of information, and realize the mutual communication between the vehicle and the interface. The design of human-computer interaction interface, can make the driver visual, effective control of the overall situation of motor vehicles, effectively avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents because of the operating interface.After testing, the system meets the requirements, each function module can run normally, the whole system runs stably, the test results are good, have been able to meet the requirements.
