In the traditional designation we be used to using a big industrial computer to control many electromotor controllers, the big industrial computer usually not only have big cubage but also can not move conveniently, and it cost too much, and have the complex interface. And it usually use Microsoft Windows System and development tools, it will pay for more money for that. When we use embedded system, it not only meet the requirements of count and control, but also have the characters of small cubage, more smart, lower cost, simply operation, simply interface. And Linux ,development tools, MiniGUI belong to GPL, all this can lower the developments cost.Firstly, this paper expounds the conceptions of the embedded system. Secondly and Thirdly introduce the basic configuration of the embedded system which based on the Samsung s3c2410x and the characters of its composing parts, and the design of Embedded System target and host platform. Fouthly, the design of LCD driver and touchscreen emendation arithmetic. Fifthly, application program design. Sixthly,design of DSP hardware.In this paper we focus on software design. It simply introduces bootloader and filesystem, but mainly about three other aspects: How to set up the cross compiled environment which bases on s3c2410x and embedded Linux, the compile process and the interior configurations of the kernel; the design of LCD driver and touchscreen emendation arithmetic; design of GUI which bases on MiNiGUI, and serial communication development.In the end, this paper sum-up and estimate the accomplish circumstance of this task, and give the advices of future developments for this task.
