Research On Extension Service Of University Library

With the vigorously development of modern information technology and information network service system gradually perfect today, accessing to information is becoming more and more convenient, while the inherent mode of university library service has been gradually cannot meet the divers needs of readers. Thus upgrading service concept of university library, enriching the content of the university library service as well as broadening the university library service mode is imperative. This article investigates the website of the "985 project" university libraries to collect detailed information of the current situation of university library extending services` practice; and then the paper analyzes the existing deficiencies. Lastly, the paper put forward to optimize the university library extending service strategy. In this paper, the research on the one hand, enrich the theoretical basis of university library; on the other hand improves the practice exploration of extending service of university library.
