Traditional university laboratory management, the majority of the use of artificial operation management methods, management backward, inefficient, and the timeliness is relatively poor. With the continuous development of the universities, the traditional management method has not kept up with the pace of the development of colleges and universities, also in response to the national "wisdom campus" slogan, the major colleges and universities is also introduced a large number of new equipment, which makes the laboratory management work more difficult, how intelligent laboratory management has become now need to solve the problem, based on the above problems and combining with the campus practice, this paper gives a scheme based on RFID laboratory management system.This article through to the domestic and foreign development present situation analysis, with the RFID technology, the PHP technology and the database technology as the support, launched the RFID based laboratory management system research and design. At first, the design of the system is analyzed from three aspects of user requirements, functional requirements and performance requirements. For administrators, they are responsible for the management of the semester, teachers and curriculum project etc.. For teachers, they can complete the online experiment arrangement, the arrangement of curriculum schedule and view student appointments. For students, they are able to achieve through the system online booking, experimental attendance and other functions. Then in view of the above requirements is given the design of the system, including the system’s overall structure design, system interface design, database design, system hardware design and experimental curriculum design. The overall structure of the system includes the system structure, network topology structure and function structure. The system interface design is given to administrators, teachers and students of the client interface. Database design includes the concept of the database structure, logical structure and physical structure of the design. The hardware of the system includes the IC card and the card reader. By comparing the different types of IC card, the Mifare1 card is selected as the user card, and the card reader module uses the RC522 module of Philips company. The design description of the system experimental course arrangement is to compare the genetic algorithm and ant colony algorithm, and finally give a method of using genetic algorithm to optimize the scheduling problem.At last, the system is realized by web page, and the function of the system is tested. The test manager module to achieve the school term, curriculum management, etc.. The teacher the student attendance management and students view the booking and other functions. Students to achieve the experiment of the appointment and online viewing courses, etc.. Test results show that the system has basically reached the design target, but from the technology, the system specific implementation there are still some problems to be solved, such as more functions for increased, web interface still need to beautify and so on, these problems will become the focus of the next step of our work.
