| As the population of college students increasing since 1999, colleges and universities go short of the hardware, especially the experiment equipment. In that case, it’s indispensable to improve the utilization of laboratory equipment, make rational use of resources, and manage the equipment automatically. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is beneficial for the goods management and the people management system. RFID combined with the computer processing technology can explore a helpful open laboratory management system. RFID based open laboratory management system is able to regulate the experiment management, optimize the utilization of resources and improves the security of laboratory.RFID laboratory system is proposed in the thesis, to solve the resource allocation, equipment security and identity authentication problem. First, the paper analysis the successful cases of open laboratory in university and make comparison of their advantages and disadvantages. Secondly, the paper analysis the technical of the systems involved, as well as the security of RFID in the prevention control of laboratory equipment and identity authentication. Furthermore, an open laboratory management system based on RFID is design and implement by UML modeling and architectural design technics. The system include the system architecture, the selection of hardware, database design, and design of embodies core functions in the process. At last, the implementation and the testing of the system is described finally.RFID-based open laboratory management system can achieve the purpose of the experimental device security protection, personnel certification authority and laboratory resource allocation. |
