Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet of Things, Radio Frequency Identification technology, as the key technology of Internet of Things is increasingly widely used in every aspect of our lives. In university laboratory management the application of RFID technology is also the important direction of future development.This paper mainly studied the application of RFID technology in laboratory management. In the laboratory management system of the past, most are using the computer information management system and the use of the Internet of things is less. This study used the working frequency of925MHZ uhf RFID technology. Its characteristic is untouched data, far distance of reading and writing, stable transferring, and higher rate, therefore, uhf RFID technology can be adapted to the demand of the laboratory management system.After determining the use of RFID technology, analyzing developing the software platform of this system, and comparing the Java, Net and Lotus Notes platform, we select the Java technology development platform and combine with the RFID technology so this project is designed.This project does research achievements in the field at home and abroad and design the university laboratory management system based on RFID technology. When analyzing the demand for lab we found that the original basic laboratory management mode depends on the manual operation. The operation process is complex. Based on the demand of the laboratory management; focused on combining the RFID technology to the management of the laboratory instruments and equipment for the design of the system.This project includes four subsystems of function module. Project is put into trial operation and its management provides a convenient for laboratory management personnel, reduces the labor intensity of the laboratory management personnel and improves the efficiency of the laboratory management.Finally before put into operation, this project was tested. The results show that this project can better use of RFID in the process of laboratory management system, improve the management of the laboratory instruments, equipment automation and intelligent level.
