Curtain wall as a main carrier of modernarchitecture,has developed in a more complicated and diversified trend,it represents construction ideas, function and effect.As an important part of the construction project, the quality of the design has anenormous impact on its investment, progress and quality. Inorder to improve the overall quality of construction projectsand design management level, it is necessary to combinetechnology management informatization in construction industry.As a new Information management method and application tools, BIM(Building Information Modeling) has aroused more and more attention of experts,scholars andengineers in AEC(Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry.BIM integrateparameterized design, collaborative, visual management, construction simulation informationmanagement technology, that is urgent needed to control the construction and engineeringinformation digitally in project’s lifecycle in today’s AEC industry, and promoting thecomprehensive benefit of project.This thesismainly employs literature research method, investigation method and real project cases, curtain wall engineering design management technology study in BIM, combined with the typical complex curtain wall engineering case, discuss how to improve the project management level of HP company, with the curtain wall design management and knowledge management project management attributes and BIM analysis on the necessity; from the realcase, the design and analysis of our existing means of the curtain wall design management problems, enterprise design standards are not perfect, the design process needs to be optimized and other issues need to be strengthened; and finally puts forward the design and analysis methods, design standard, BIM design team building, BIM design process optimization, building curtain wall engineering design and project management, and for the BIM business to develop the construction project procurement, delivery mode and so improve the specific measures for the management of curtain wall engineering design, to ensure that the BIM Technology from the curtain wall engineering design, construction,project delivery to the operability of post operation.
