As an important constituent in urban space,the modern commercial building impacts the urban overall layout in regard to areal distribution,location planning,plane modality,space construction,surface characteristic and other aspects,particularly for the architectural space and surface characteristic,both of which could reflect the commercial trait and cultural taste of the entire city.All of those become people's significant reference on evaluating a city.Acting as the key pattern of manifestation of modern commercial building space and surface characteristic,the building curtain wall has also integrated into the commercial trait of the commercial buildings deeply.Therefore,in order to realize the charm and trait of commercial building,how to apply the technique of building curtain wall to optimize the surface of the modern commercial building reasonably also turns into the basic requirement to the design capability of the curtain wall by modern commercial building.BIM(Building Information Modeling)is a kind of emerging informationized management method and application tool.It has integrated the information management technology that is urgently needed by the current commercial building industry,with parametric design,collaborative work,visual management,construction analogue simulation and others included.It is able to conduct digitalized control towards the engineering information of the building project during the full life cycle,and in virtue of which,to promote the comprehensive benefits of such project.Thus,it has attracted more and more specialists,scholars and engineering technicians in the building industry.This paper plans to realize the owners' and architects' requirements to the building surface characteristic through researching on BIM's systematized application methods for the management of the data and information in the sub-divisional project design and construction of the commercial building curtain wall,and thus to turn the architects' thoughts into reality,restore the architects' design philosophy to the maximization.So that by the time of realizing the architects' requirements to commercial building surface,it has provided new design management and construction management philosophy and thought for the complex and versatile curtain wall design of the modern commercial building.Specific research contents are as below.Firstly combining with the relevant references from domestic and abroad,this paper unfolded systematic investigation towards the available BIM theory,and extracted the correlated research result,which had been taken as the technical guidance framework during designing management and constructing management commercial building curtain wall for BIM.Secondly,starting from introducing and analyzing the development course,technical feature,construction management mode and others aspects of the commercial building curtain wall,it spread the discussion by combining with technological way,management process,development direction and other aspects in the sub-divisional project of the current commercial building curtain wall among the domestic traditional enterprises of curtain wall,and analyzed the malpractice and problems existed in designing management and constructing management in our traditional commercial building.Finally,by means of applying BIM technical characteristic,it solved numerous puzzles appeared during every link management from the sub-divisional project of complex commercial building curtain wall,and meanwhile it carried out argument and analysis by introducing the practical engineering cases,thus concluded the detailed systematic application method during designing management and constructing management in commercial building curtain wall for BIM.
