Analysis Of Resettlement Residential Area’s Elderly-oriented Renovation Design For Losingterritory Peasants

With the population’s aging and rural area’s urbanization, demand of elders who lost their territories in China is a great challenge. In today’s society, “home care” is the main aging-support trend, so how to improve losing-territories elders’ living conditions is the key of this problem. Resettlement residential area always provides service for the losing-territories elders who live around the urban fringe, so the living conditions of this area are connected tightly with the losing-territories elders.This paper takes Xuzhou as an example to analyze the resettlement residential area for losing-territories peasants, choosing three examples in Xuzhou fringe. Through the questionnaire, interview, measurement, statistical analysis, the author had a study of elders’ character and living demands. The author paid attention to the distinction between urban elders’ daily life and rural elders’, from which the author drew inspiration on the renovation design for losing-territories peasants. The author also took “people-oriented” as the core ideology, considering the security, applicability, amenity and economy at the same time. With the analysis of living conditions, aging-support of losing-territories peasants, as well as the analysis of distinctions between urban elders’ daily life and rural elders’, the author came up with indoor and outdoor renovation designs for three apartments in Xuzhou, making the resettlement residential area suits more the losing-territories peasants.Resettlement residential apartment for losing-territory elders not only has the suitable layout, great living conditions, also needs the special high technology facilities and qualified managers. We should pay attention to the long-term effect of society and buildings, putting emphasis on management, strengthening the reforming design of resettlement having in order to improve elders’ living standard. There is along way to go still, we should insist on researching and innovating, only in this way, can we find out the best solution for society’s supporting problem.
