Naturally ventilated building stage of the application is to achieve an important way to save energy and improve the quality of life, but also an issue needs to be addressed.Firstly, for the meteorological factors characteristic of summer and cold winter climate zone, through the establishment of natural ventilation assessment model to calculate the potential of natural ventilation in summer and cold winter climate zones and natural ventilation were analyzed, the following conclusions : natural ventilation in different regions of the effective percentage generally account for about 30 % of the year. Secondly, it introduces the principle and calculation method of natural ventilation and natural ventilation summarizes the implementation, from the control size and layout of the building, maintaining optimal design of the structure opening, optimal design of the roof, the floor of natural ventilation and energy conservation, atrium exhaust chimney and ventilation walls, double outside maintenance of the structure, the seven aspects of underground ducts etc. Then summarize the different nature of the multi-level, high-rise residential building natural ventilation strategies were based on two levels of pressure and hot for residential buildings to illustrate the natural ventilation design strategy, and through the example of the understanding and analysis, summary appeared in strategies and methods that have been applied, and how to implement these policies. Finally, the first principle and process ventilation by simulating traditional courtyard building, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages forms appear there; and on this basis, made applicable to modern and more high-rise residential building ventilation design strategies, and through CFD simulation technology, this study was analyzed and verified.
